Can you be driven to your airplane if you travel first class? Q. Does anyone know if any airlines offer an express check-in service in which you are driven from your door to the airplane without having to go through the check-in lounge? i.e. you're picked up from your house, stop at the airport for a security check, and then driven, by car, to the airplane. I assume it's a service only available to first class passengers on specific flights, thanks for your help! Asked by Hamza K - Thu Apr 3 21:50:32 2008 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments A. Virgin, Air France, BA, SIA, Lufthansa, and Emirates (as well as others I'm not aware of) offer this service in their highest cabin on international flights =] You have the option of being driven to the lounge for express check-in or right to fast-track security and then driven again from there to your plane. Which river allows Nimitz-class aircraft carriers to travel the farthest inland? Which American rivers are navigable to any extent by Nimitz-class carriers? Asked by Abdelnaby - Tue Mar 4 19:31:03 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. There aren't any rivers that are deep enough for a Nimitz class carrier to navigate very far. That class of ship and other comparable ships have a very deep draft which means they need a lot of water under them. It is also not just the depth of a river that stops them from using it. It is the width as you need to turn a 1,000 foot + long vessel around to come back out. The navy couldn't risk having a major ship in a situation where it couldn't escape from possible attacks. Thus the big ladies only venture into areas such as San Diego bay and Puget Sound and other large and deep areas. Q. I want to travel Europe but I make hardly any money. Anyone know any secrets of extreme budget traveling to Europe? Asked by the_nuttiest1 - Tue Apr 25 16:03:36 2006 - - 16 Answers - 0 Comments A. Hostels are also often called backpackers' hostels (or backpackers' for short), particularly in Australia and New Zealand. In a hostel guests rent a bed (sometimes a bunk bed) in a dormitory and share common bathroom, kitchen, and lounge rooms. Private rooms are often available. The main benefits of a hostel are firstly the low cost of the accommodation compared to alternatives such as hotels, and that one gets to meet other travellers from all over the world. Hostels are usually less formal and less expensive than hotels. They are… [cont.] Answered by The_Answer_Man - Tue Apr 25 16:06:10 2006 From Yahoo Answer Search: "travel class" |
